About Me

As a research-oriented information professional, I seek to understand the societal implications of information technology. Through synthesizing knowledge of the research process and knowledge of technology, I can gain insight into how technology can be used to make the world better. Throughout my undergraduate career I have worked on developing problem-solving skills, and I have studied subjects such as database design and management, web development, and data analytics.

I am a first year graduate student at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working towards an MS in Information Science. I completed a BS in Information Technology (and a second major in Creative Writing) at Florida State University in May 2017. I currently work as an IT Lab Assistant at the Help Desk for the School of Information and Library Science at UNC.
